Summary:

Sam Dawson, a mentally disabled adult who has been working at a coffee chop and raising his daughter Lucy for even years, Sam recieves helps in his parenting duties from a circle of trusted confidantes. Although he provides a structed and loving enviroment for lucy that includes regular visit to shop, video mighto, and karaoke, Sams daughter is beginning to surpass him in metal acuity, when lucy begins intentionally parenting her own growth so as not to hurt her beloved father, a social worker taker action, removing rhe girl from her home and placing her in the temporary care of a poster mother. It's the day of teh heaving and Sam seeks over the aid of an obsessive lawyer, who takes the case only to prove to her colleague that she is willing to accept prolong work. Opposed by country lawyer turner in court, she gradually comes to case for her client and his daughter, as they force her to consider the limitations of her own abilities as a parent.
