PART III (A): Free verse poem

"there's two types of people in this universe."

"there are those type of people who are open books and tell each and every single detail of their life to just about anyone.

and there are those type of people who are closed books and say very little about themselves and their life.

but we all start out the same, but we don't really notice that, well now we hardly notice anything anymore.

we all start out as open books as kids we want to tell our so called friends every good and bad that happens to us as soon as possible.

we tell them the good for they can be happy for us and we like when people are happy for us.

but we also tell them the bad for we don't have to upset all alone because as kids sadness is horrible.

this happens to every kid when growing up its as if they want as many people as possible to be in their life.

for a thousand different reasons that only we will know if we actually think about them.

and it's as if half of us hit something in our life that we notice that too many people in our lives isn't good.

and that's when the other half of people turn into closed books and just suddenly stop telling everything to everyone.

they tell certain things to only the ones that actually care to listen to them. don't get me wrong, not everyone who is a closed book is like that.

we usually say simple things to a lot of people even those that don't care but we carefully choose who to tell the most important things to.

but even though those two types seem completely different they're exactly anything but different.

we're the same we just decide to show it differently from each other."
